Just Mustard - We Were Just Here [LP]

Just Mustard – We Were Just Here
Just Mustard’s third studio album, We Were Just Here, marks a powerful shift in the Irish quintet’s sonic and emotional landscape. Hailing from Dundalk, the band explores themes of reconnection and the pursuit of happiness—through escapism, euphoria, and love. Musically both violent and ecstatic, the album is filled with tension and release, pairing jagged textures with sweeping catharsis.
Where their previous album Heart Under felt submerged and claustrophobic, We Were Just Here finds the band breaking the surface, soaring through a vivid rush of raw emotion and clarity. Lyrically, it follows characters fixated on happiness—even if it means losing sight of what happiness truly is.
