Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band - New Threats From The Soul (Transparent Light Blue)

Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band – New Threats from the Soul [Vinyl]
Sophomore Lounge Records

Ryan Davis returns with his Roadhouse Band for a striking new chapter in Louisville-born alt-country storytelling. New Threats from the Soul follows a busy year of touring and live collaborations with MJ Lenderman, and finds Davis sharpening his signature slacker-country style with both grit and grace.

Featuring a stellar lineup of guests including Catherine Irwin (Freakwater), Will Oldham (Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy), Lou Turner, and Myriam Gendron, the album blends worn-in melodies with lyrical rawness—equal parts dust, twang, and poetic punch.
