Skyzoo - Music For My Friends (2Lp)

Skyzoo – Music for My Friends [Vinyl]
Originally released in the summer of 2015, Music for My Friends is a critically acclaimed concept album from Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo, offering a vivid, lyrical journey through the lens of a 13-year-old navigating life in his neighborhood. Thoughtful, cinematic, and deeply personal, the album solidified Skyzoo's place among the sharpest storytellers in hip-hop.

With standout features from Jadakiss, Black Thought, Bilal, Elzhi, and a breakout appearance by a young Westside Gunn on the blog hit “Luxury,” the project is both a coming-of-age narrative and a love letter to the golden era of New York rap. Production is handled by a powerhouse lineup including Illmind, Thelonious Martin, and Seige Monstracity.

A cornerstone of Skyzoo’s catalog, Music for My Friends is both nostalgic and timeless—rich in detail, heart, and head-nodding beats.
